Your company's policy will determine if you can receive a leave of absence
to become a full-time student. For some employees, however, this isn't a
feasible option because of time and financial constraints. You still have
several options available:
1) Attend classes after work the most
traditional route. Most universities recognize the time limitations of
working adults and adjust their programs to make them more accessible during
evening and weekend hours.
|
2) Consider a university that offers distance
learning. Many educational institutions offer distance learning programs
through which they employ current technology to reach more students. Courses
may be delivered via videotape, video conferencing and satellite, or the
Internet. Again, check with your HR department for information on the
educational platforms provided by various institutions.
