Because many colleges and universities around the country are ramping up to increase awareness about ETE, you may already have heard from your local institutions. If not, we encourage you to call the admissions office of two- and four-year colleges and universities in the surrounding area. Those that offer engineering technology education programs will want to hear from you. Here are a few suggestions that may help employees get on the ball about an ETE:

  • Compile a list of employees who have expressed an interest in ETE. The admissions office of the college should have an ETE packet prepared to send to those employees directly or to your company for distribution.
  • If you'd like to distribute additional information to interested employees, ask for the video now available about ETE.
  • For more information, send interested employees to this site as well as: ASHRAE Society student page, American Society for Engineering Education, National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) Engineers' Week web site, National Society of Professional Engineers Student Engineer web site, Discover Engineering, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy.
  • Organize an event for your company ... click on Setting Up an ETE Event for more details.
