Because many colleges and universities around the country are ramping up to
increase awareness about ETE, you may already have heard from your local
institutions. If not, we encourage you to call the admissions office of two-
and four-year colleges and universities in the surrounding area. Those that
offer engineering technology education programs will want to hear from you.
Here are a few suggestions that may help employees:
|
Have a list of employees who have expressed an
interest in ETE. The admissions office of the
college should have an ETE packet prepared to
send to those employees. |
|
If you'd like to distribute information to interested
employees, ask for the video now available about ETE. |
|
Invite your local colleges and universities to send
engineering technology students to the company
to answer questions, provide hands-on demonstrations of what they're
learning and encourage employees to seek more information about ETE. |
|
|
You may also want to investigate working with local
colleges and universities to create a mentoring
program that brings undergrad and graduate
students into a one-on-one relationship with
prospective ETE students. |
