You know the drill: college fairs... one-on-one visits to the high school by college representatives. But did you know there are colleges and universities that are setting up to reach students specifically about an engineering technology education? The push is on to show high school students the career possibilities and exciting opportunities available specifically for engineering technology majors. And those same institutions want to create a win-win situation with you.

When you call, let them know you'd like to set up a time for a representative to visit and discuss their ETE programs with
students. They'll send you posters and sign-up sheets, mail information to interested students, advertise in your area — in short, provide the marketing support necessary to bring out the students who have an interest in ETE. You can also ask for the ETE video and use that for one-on-one sessions with your students. The ETE awareness-building program is designed to make your job easier when it comes to providing thorough information to your students.
