The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) is the administrator of a national Image and Marketing campaign for Engineering Technology Education (IMETE). The purpose of the campaign is to respond to a field study completed in 1995, which identified that by 2003, there will be an estimated 400,000 ET-related jobs unfilled in the United States. IMETE consists of a dynamic, national team that includes professionals from academia, industry, integrated marketing communications consulting and project management consulting. You may already have begun to receive information on marketing strategies and how to integrate this new campaign and materials into your current recruiting efforts — if not, information is readily available on this site, as well as at www.asee.org.
